Self Help Resources

This blog didn’t turn out the way I planned. It was supposed to help people who were facing the same kind of issues with stress that I did.

Perhaps help to prevent people from letting it get out of control in the way I did.

In my search for ways to deal with stress, be happier and get more of what I wanted, I tried a lot of things.

Too many things.

Some of them were good for me and some not so good. I decided to write about them all here.

After all, something that wasn’t a fit for me might be just what you need.

But in doing that, some of the good stuff has become lost in the noise. That is why I set up this page.

These are some of the resources that have been the most helpful for me and I hope they will be for you.

My top self help resources.

Meditation

One of the first and best things I found for dealing with stress was meditation.

I went to a weekly class which which produced amazing results. But the class took place in the daytime and I had to give it up when I went back to work.

Also, I was never able to get the same results when I practiced at home alone.

This is a post about my experience and the program I found that answered my questions and gave me the tools I needed to get back on track.

I have also become a fan of technology to help with the relaxation and meditation process.

There are various brainwave entrainment solutions around, including some pretty expensive ones.

Personally, I have had better results from some cheaper or even free resources.

They go beyond just relaxation. They can also help to release limiting beliefs, boost mental performance and make achieving your goals seem easier to achieve.

Tapping Therapy

The Tapping Solution

I have to admit that tapping came as a total surprise to me. When I first heard about it I didn’t want to know.

But it somehow crept up on me.

It may seem weird and something you would definitely want to try out in private but hey, it works.

I have had great results with it and I think I owe it to you to mention it and at least give you the opportunity to take a look.
